Get to know Mrs. Rogovin I am Mrs. Rogovin, the 10th grade Global History teacher at the High School for Public Service in Brooklyn, NY. This school year marks the beginning of my 9th year at the school.
I just returned from a summer research fellowship in Scotland. Ms. Bitler and I traveled there and spent one month studying Stone Age civilizations and the pottery created by these people. I am very excited to share with you what we learned. I am originally from North Carolina and graduated from Appalachian State University. After graduating, I lived in Washington DC where I worked for US Senator Mark Pryor and then moved to New York to take a job with the New York Times. All of that changed when I met Ms. Rachel at a career fair and my HSPS adventure began. While at HSPS I completed a Masters degree from Columbia University Teachers College, got married, and had my daughter Maefaire! I look forward to learning more about you and teaching you this year. Best, Mrs. Rogovin ps. If you are wondering where I am in this picture, I am in a BURIAL TOMB older than the pyramids! Orkney Islands, Scotland |
